Filming Downtown
Charlize Theron. Ryan Reynolds. Forest Whitaker. Christian Slater. Kristen Stewart. These are just a few celebrities who have brought productions to Regina.
While filming can sometimes be disruptive to neighbourhoods, parking and traffic, there are many positive outcomes that accompany film production, including job creation, economic spin-offs and the opportunity to showcase our beautiful city on screens around the world.
In 2008/2009 the sector’s production levels stimulated nearly $75 million in economic impact for Saskatchewan.
