 Regina Downtown launches new ways to learn and connect
June 27, 2011 After months of hard work Regina Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) is ready to announce the launch of a new way to learn and connect with Downtown. Beginning today guests, citizens, and visitors will be using a new website design and layout for all their information about Downtown. The new design, based on their newly launched visual identity takes elements of the “Infinite Horizons” community brand and adds a twist of individuality. The layout of the new website offers ease of navigation, and more information about Downtown, and the Regina Downtown organization. “The new website is really slick. The navigation is incredibly easy; we’ve added both a rotating box that can be clicked on and will direct people to the exact page they're looking for and we’ve brought the events calendar that has information about events happening all over the Downtown neighbourhood, out of hiding and onto the homepage – no more searching around. We’ve also included more information about what Regina Downtown (the organization) is, who we are, and the services we offer. We think it’s really important that people are connecting with Downtown so we’ve also included Downtown history and information for potential investors,” said Samantha Routley, Manager of Marketing and Communications for Regina Downtown. The new website will still be available at the domain name www.reginadowntown.ca Regina Downtown has also recently launched a newly designed e-newlsetter called Connect that will give people a new way to learn about what’s going on Downtown. Connect is sent out every two weeks and can be signed up for on the homepage of the new website.
